Karin is HR Business Partner Talent Management at mayato. She looks forward to hiring new talents – and loves seeing her colleagues excel themselves. But how did she find her way to us?
Karin, what do you do at mayato?
I’m a talent scout for mayato. It’s great to constantly meet new people: in interviews, in collaborative projects with universities, at exhibitions, or later as new colleagues. To see how employees develop, the career paths they take – that’s something I find very rewarding.
How did you find your way to us?
I found out about mayato right after my parental leave. I soon realized everyone’s very relaxed here, and I liked that. The tasks are interesting, I’m flexible, and I can balance my job and my family wonderfully.
Why do you recommend mayato?
That’s easy (laughs). At mayato, it’s the people who count. We have very flat hierarchies, not just in theory. Anyone can approach our management team, from intern to team leads. And we have a very open culture – open to new ideas and creative thinking. We all support each other. Those aren’t empty phrases. It’s really true here.
What are your plans for the future?
We have big plans. mayato continues to grow and each individual can grow with the company, too. I’d like to play a big part in ensuring that we remain just as warm and friendly when the team gets bigger and becomes more international. I want to keep the mayato spirit alive and pass it on.
