Duy is Senior Consultant and Project Lead SAS Reporting at mayato. He has worked at mayato for more than 10 years, making him one of the most experienced consultants. So, why has he been with us for so long?
Duy, where are you currently deployed as a senior consultant?
I’m currently working at a state agency in Baden-Württemberg in reporting, in other words, data collection and preparation. It’s about particular information on the use of E.U. agricultural subsidies.
Why did you choose mayato?
I joined mayato after graduating from university, so I’ve been here for more than 10 years. It felt good right from the start. We’re given individual guidance – each person in their specialist areas. There’s no dog-eat-dog mentality, like in many other consulting companies. We support each other.
What makes working at mayato different?
As a consultant, I always have a very interesting external view of our customers’ projects. You have to slot into different corporate cultures, and then you can achieve a lot. That really appeals to me.
What special moments have there been in your 10 years at mayato?
I know it sounds too good to be true, but it’s really difficult to pick out individual highlights, because my whole time at mayato has been a highlight. One thing I really appreciated, though, was being able to take some time off, a sabbatical for health reasons. Returning to work afterwards was no problem. The nicest thing about mayato is the informal and relaxed atmosphere. There can’t be many places where you’d still want to work as a consultant after 10 years. We simply all stick together.
